Ten percent of every Business Owner subscription is given as a gift to that member's own masjid (the Business Networking Circle they belong to) every month, for as long as they are a member. If someone has not chosen a home masjid yet, their ten percent goes to our founding community, Masjid Ash-Shaheed in Charlotte, until they do.
A masjid's gift begins the month after its circle goes live. Nothing is back-dated. The months before it joined were already given to the communities they belonged to at the time.
Nobody votes on this and nobody has to lobby for it. Your money follows you to the community you actually pray in. Sadaqah given directly to a circle does not pass through us at all. PayPal pays the masjid, and the gift is recorded here so the amount is public either way.

How It Works

Business owners pay $9.99 a month. This is what sustains the community.

10% of it is set aside as a Sadaqah gift the moment the payment clears.

It is credited to that member’s own masjid, or to Masjid Ash-Shaheed in Charlotte, our founding community, until theirs joins.

Each masjid tells us how it wants to receive it (PayPal, Zelle, a check, a bank transfer) and we send it month by month.

Anyone can give directly too. Sadaqah given on a circle page is paid straight to that masjid by PayPal and never passes through us.

Every dollar sent is listed below with its amount and date, by name, unless the recipient asked to stay private.
