Note on Alerts
The adhan plays while DeenPartner is open. Open the settings above and you can also turn on Keep the adhan ready, which keeps the app awake in the background so the full recitation plays even when you have switched to something else, and prayer reminders, which reach you with a notification when the app is closed entirely.
On an iPhone both of those need DeenPartner added to your home screen first. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and open it from that icon.
