Privacy Policy

DeenPartner is run by A.L.I. Creative Solutions LLC. This page says what we collect, why, and who can see it. In plain language, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. There is no version of this platform where that changes.

What we collect

When you create an account: your name and email. Optionally a photo, city, phone, headline, bio, specialties, and your home masjid. All optional, and you choose what appears in the member directory.

When you list a business: the business details, contact information, hours, and location. If you run it from home or work mobile, your street address is stored privately and never published. Your listing shows your city and state only.

Prayer times and qibla: if you allow it, your device location is used to calculate accurate times and direction. It is sent to the prayer-time service to get an answer and is not stored on our servers or attached to your account. Deny the permission and the tools still work from a city.

When you use the platform: posts, replies, reviews, vouches, messages, connections, and businesses you follow. Plus ordinary usage data (page views and error logs) used to keep the site working.

Brother Hakim: questions asked are used to answer you, and questions the assistant could not answer are logged so we can improve the knowledge base. Those logged questions are saved without your name or account attached. We keep the question, not who asked it. Brother Hakim is an AI assistant, not a scholar.

Following a business

Tapping the heart on a listing tells that business owner you follow them. They see your first name; they see your email address only if you turned on directory sharing in your profile.

Following is not permission to market to you. We tell owners that plainly, and we do not give them a tool to email their followers. You can unfollow at any time.

Reporting and blocking

When you report something, we store what you reported, the reason, anything you wrote, and that it came from you. The person you report is never told who reported them. Reports are kept after the reported content is gone, because that record is often the only evidence of what happened.

Blocking someone is private. They are not notified. Neither of you sees the other's posts or messages. If you were connected, that connection is hidden rather than deleted. Unblock them and it comes back the way it was, unless they have blocked you too. Blocking is not a one-way door.

Who else touches your data

Only the services needed to run the platform: our database and file host, our email sender, PayPal for subscriptions (we never see or store your card), Google Maps for addresses, and the AI service behind Brother Hakim. Each handles only the piece of data its job requires.

Email

Every non-essential email carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in. You can also choose which kinds you receive in your profile. We will still send the few you would want. Password resets, and anything about a listing you own.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, without asking us or explaining why, from your profile or at deenpartner.app/delete-account. It removes your profile, listings, posts, reviews, messages, and connections. Community Fund records keep the amount and date with your name removed, because a fund the publishes every dollar it sends has to stay auditable.

You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it.

Children

DeenPartner is for people 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will remove it.
