DeenPartner is more than a directory โ it is a community built on trust. These standards are not just rules; they are reflections of the values we already hold as Muslims. By joining, you agree to uphold them in both letter and spirit.
Brotherhood, Sisterhood & Respect
- Treat every member as you would wish to be treated โ with dignity, patience, and genuine care.
- Disagreements happen. Address them privately and respectfully. Public disputes that harm community harmony are not permitted.
- Uplift fellow Muslims. Celebrate each other's successes. A community that supports one another rises together.
- Avoid any language or behavior that demeans, mocks, or humiliates others โ regardless of background, business size, or opinion.
Halal Conduct & Islamic Etiquette
- All interactions on DeenPartner must reflect the adab (etiquette) of our deen โ honest, measured, and intentional.
- Do not promote, advertise, or link to anything that involves riba (interest-based finance), haram products, or impermissible services.
- Communicate with modesty. Avoid unnecessary mixing, inappropriate language, and content that contradicts Islamic values.
- When in doubt about whether something is permissible, consult a scholar or err on the side of caution.
Business Integrity & Honest Dealings
- The Prophet ๏ทบ said: "The truthful, trustworthy merchant will be with the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs." (Tirmidhi) โ Let this be our standard.
- All business listings must accurately represent your services, pricing, and credentials. Misleading claims are a violation of Islamic ethics and this platform's standards.
- Do not use the platform to poach other businesses' clients, copy their content, or undermine their reputation.
- If a dispute arises from a transaction between members, seek resolution through good faith communication before escalating.
- Referral incentives, affiliate links, and promotional arrangements must be disclosed transparently.
No Harassment, Spam, or Predatory Behavior
- Zero tolerance for harassment in any form โ including repeated unwanted contact, threats, and targeting individuals for ridicule.
- Spam is prohibited. This includes mass messaging members, posting repetitive promotional content, or using DeenPartner data to run unsolicited campaigns.
- Do not use the platform to recruit members into multi-level marketing schemes, high-pressure sales, or exploitative programs.
- Predatory financial products โ including anything involving riba, gharar (excessive uncertainty), or maysir (gambling) โ are strictly prohibited.
Privacy & Data Respect
- Members share contact information and personal details in trust. This data must never be shared, sold, or used outside of legitimate community interactions.
- Do not screenshot private conversations and share them publicly without consent.
- Respect the directory opt-in system โ members who have not opted into the directory have chosen privacy, and that choice must be honored.
- If a member asks you to stop contacting them, do so immediately and completely.
Content Standards
- Community posts must be relevant, constructive, and beneficial to the Muslim business community.
- Do not share unverified religious rulings (fatwas). If you share Islamic guidance, cite a credible scholar or source.
- Political content that is divisive, partisan, or inflammatory is not the purpose of this platform. Focus on building, not dividing.
- No content that promotes violence, extremism, or any illegal activity will be tolerated.
- Business promotions in the community feed are welcome when they're genuine, informative, and not repetitive. Value-first posts are always welcome.
Enforcement
- Violations are reviewed by the DeenPartner admin team. We aim to be fair, thorough, and consistent.
- Minor first-time violations: A private notice and guidance on correct behavior.
- Repeat or moderate violations: Temporary suspension of community posting privileges.
- Serious violations (harassment, fraud, repeated offenses): Permanent removal from the platform.
- We reserve the right to remove any content or account that compromises the safety, integrity, or Islamic character of this community.
